  • Dosing and filtering equipment (e.g. service of pipettes)

Our service department also offers the following services:

  • Advice on purchasing devices in terms of their suitability for a given application
  • Installation of devices and training of operators
  • Warranty repairs and service work based on a complaint or written order
  • Performing electrical inspections in accordance with ČSN 331610 including issuing an inspection report (the operator is obliged to ensure this inspection every two years)
  • Service care for devices based on an annual order or service contract
  • Long-term service contracts based on individual requirements under preferential conditions

Service inspections of MERCIĀ® fume hoods and media walls

From the point of view of the law, fume hoods and media walls are low-voltage appliances. Especially in the case of fume hoods, this is a relatively complex product, consisting of many electrical, electronic and mechanical parts, the quality, reliability and flawless interaction of which are essential aspects for maintaining the correct functioning of the product as a whole.

This fact comes to the fore even more since fume hoods often work with substances that are hazardous to human health. For this reason, we recommend that you, as manufacturers, carry out regular service inspections at least once every 12 months, the aim of which is not only to significantly extend the life of the entire device, but also to provide the user with a practically unlimited warranty period, the exact nature of which is determined by the terms and conditions of the company MERCI, s.r.o.

We are able to carry out regular service inspections either on the basis of a special order from the user, or with regard to the data in the service contract concluded between the company MERCI, s.r.o. and the user at any time after the installation and handover of a new fume hood or media wall. In the case of a long-term service contract, the supplier, MERCI, s.r.o., assumes the obligation to supervise the warranty period and the need for a service inspection.

The main objective of this contract is to ensure general regular inspections of hoods and media walls once every 12 months directly at the user's workplace, during which the following common parameters will be checked: the condition of hidden parts of the body, the tightness of valve olives, the functionality of integrated electronic devices, and for hoods, the tightness and condition of the HVAC connection, the alarm function, the degree of contamination of the exhaust slot, the replacement of the window cable suspension and the sealing of the worktop will be carried out. Confirmation of the service inspection will be entered on a special page of the operating instructions and the device will be provided with a distinctive sticker with the warranty validity date for compliance with all applicable standard handling conditions.

These works are charged depending on the number of inspections performed on site and the distance from the service center in Brno.
